Police calls on Maple, Elm, Anna, Manchester

The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 12

  • Police arrested a 44-year-old male employee at a Maplewood Commons business regarding an internal theft investigation.

Tuesday, Jan. 13

  • Police arrested a 62-year-old man for trespassing at an apartment complex in the 7200 block of Anna Avenue.
  • Police arrested a 23-year-old woman for shoplifting approximately $145 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 24-year-old man for stealing approximately $270 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 31-year-old man for shoplifting approximately $150 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Wednesday, Jan. 14

  • Police arrested a 20-year-old man for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The suspect was also wanted by multiple other agencies for active warrants.

Thursday, Jan. 15

  • Police arrested a 45-year-old woman for a drug violation in the 7400 block of Elm Avenue.

Friday, Jan. 16

  • Police are investigating a bad check written in the amount of $1,900 to a business in the 7300 block of Manchester.

Saturday, Jan. 17

  • Police arrested a 33-year-old man for assaulting an acquaintance in the 7300 block of Maple Avenue. The suspect was also charged with resisting arrest and failure to comply with a police order.
  • Police arrested a 35-year-old man on trespassing charges in the 2600 block of Hanley. Police were called to this location because the male suspect was discovered by security to be inside a garage on the premises. Police found the intoxicated subject sleeping in the garage.

Sunday, Jan. 18

  • Police arrested a 31-year-old man on disorderly conduct charges. Police were called to a parking lot of a Maplewood Commons business. Police contacted the subject, who was discovered to be intoxicated.
  • Police arrested a  47-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
