Richmond Heights Police Friday captured an Iowa murder suspect hiding under a bed in the 1200 block of Yale Avenue, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The man, Dustin McDanel, of Ottumwa, Iowa, allegedly killed a man in a dispute over a dog.
McDanel, 24, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Roger Wiseman Jr., 25, on Jan. 4.
Investigators had been searching for McDanel for three weeks and discovered he had a friend living in the St. Louis area.
