The Brentwood Board of Aldermen meets Monday night, and is set to vote on items sent them from Planning and Zoning and the Public Safety Committee.
Public hearings will be held for a restaurant, Fort Taco, at 8106 Manchester Road, and a beauty shop, House of Nour, at 2928 S. Brentwood Boulevard. The board is set to vote on the businesses also.

The board will consider bids for:
- A fire alarm communicator and monitoring system in the police station
- A panic alarm system in City Hall –
- Cleaning chemicals and paper products
- Printing of the city newsletter
- Police department tasers
- A police radio communications solution (police walkie talkies have had a poor connection with ECDC) – The Wireless USA quote is $910.50

Also on the agenda:
- Aldermen Maureen Saunders and Tom Kramer are introducing a bill that would OK a study of city employees compensation.
- Kramer is also introducing a bill that would affect commercial traffic for trucks weighing more than 18,000 pounds on Eager Road from Wrenwood to Bobolink and Wrenwood from S. Brentwood to Eager.
- OB Clarks, the American Legion and the Optimist Club are applying for liquor licenses for MaddenFest.
