Police have charged theft suspects in Maplewood, Brentwood and Richmond Heights, according to police and court records.

Shannon Lea Gallion, 36, of St. Louis, is charged with stealing gold coins and cash from a house in the 7600 block of Alicia Avenue. Between Dec. 8, 2015 and Feb. 16, 2016, the victim discovered that seven Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coins, valued at $8,265, were missing from his home. He suspected that Gallion, who worked for him as a housekeeper, might be responsible. Gallion learned she was a suspect and turned herself in to Maplewood police, bringing with her an envelope containing $5,000, which she admitted stealing from the same victim. She also confessed to stealing the gold coins, saying she had sold one of them at a gold buyer’s shop and returned the others to the victim’s house, and also confessed to stealing $140 on another occasion. She was held on a $10,000 bond.

Raymond Watson, 58, of St. Louis, is charged with hiding four bottles of Royal Crown Whiskey in his jacket at the Brentwood Target on Jan. 11, 2016, and walking out of the store without paying. He was apprehended and the stolen merchandise was recovered. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

Terry Thomas Nebbitt, 66, of St. Louis, is charged with entering a stockroom at the Macy’s store at the St. Louis Galleria, and carrying out a cardboard box containing 21 Polo sweatshirts valued at $945. He was apprehended outside and the stolen merchandise was recovered.

Derek Schulze, 36, of St. Louis, is charged with entering the Lowe’s store in Maplewood on Dec. 10, 2015 and running out of the store with a Dewalt combo kit valued at $299. He returned to the store on Dec. 14, 2015, took an identical tool kit, and again ran out of the store with paying. On both dates he entered the same vehicle — a tan Ford sedan — and drove away.
