The St. Louis Post-Dispatch took a look at Brentwood in an article published on Monday. Some well-known community members, and not so well-known, comment about its past and what it is now in the face of expanding retail development.
Chief of Police (and president of the Brentwood Historical Society) Dan Fitzgerald; Carl’s waitress, Pam Martin; school superintendent, David Faulkner; and residents, Chad Carpenter, Louise Charboneau and Kevin Madras are featured.
Also, Steve Bowman, editor of TheBrentwoodSpirit.com compares Brentwood to “ritzy Clayton, party animal Maplewood and expensively quaint Webster Groves and Kirkwood.”
