Sept. 3: Girls on the Run St. Louis welcomes staff and board members
Girls on the Run St. Louis has added several key staff and board members. Meet the dynamic people who will help Girls on the Run St. Louis serve 6,000 girls during the 2015-2016 school year.
New staff members include Claire Brown, program coordinator and Maggie Roach, volunteer coordinator.
New board members include Dr. Katie Bucklen, hospitalist, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Regina DeLuca-Imral, senior media specialist, Edward Jones, Melissa Yost, CPA, chief administrative officer, Argos Partners, LLC.
Elected officers of the board include: president Amy Bender-Levy, attorney, The Marks Law Firm, LLC; vice president David Pokorny, marketing director, Fox Sports Midwest; secretary, Leigh Palmer educator, RM Captain Elementary School, Clayton School District; treasurer Michelle Brady, CPA, executive director transaction advisory services, Ernst & Young, LLP.

Sept. 9: Sunnen Products Company appoints Chris Miltenberger new President and COO
Honing technology leader Sunnen Products Company has appointed Chris Miltenberger President and COO, as announced today by Matthew Sunnen Kreider, the company’s Board Chairman. “Chris brings a proven ability to identify and capitalize on the strengths of an enterprise, as well as the team members he leads,” said Kreider. “We believe his progressive leadership style and demonstrated technical competence will strengthen Sunnen and be great assets in guiding the company to a successful future.”
Miltenberger brings Sunnen 25 years of experience in operations, management and business development for industrial and automotive manufacturing companies. Most recently, he was Director of Manufacturing and Logistics – North American Operations of PlayPower, Inc., Monett, Mo. Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility with NN, Inc., ATC Drivetrain, Zolo Technologies and Delphi. Miltenberger holds a BSBA from Ball State University, an MBA from Michigan State University, and a BSMET from Purdue University.

Sept. 9: Grand opening in Maplewood: City Farm and Feed
City Farm and Feed just moved in to Maplewood in an old gas station recently rehabbed. City Farm and Feed City Farm and Feed provides essentials for the urban homesteader: kitchen, garden, home, and a wonderful line of DIY kits. They are celebrating the Grand Opening on Friday, Sept. 25 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the store (7195 Manchester).
The event will feature complimentary lemon-drop cocktails from the amazing neighborhood Container Bar, acoustic music from the duo Bryan & Lola, kombucha cocktails from Local Harvest, a food truck, and of course lots of new, handmade, homegrown and DIY products in the store.
