The planned use development (PUD) on the 19 acres south of Sunnen Products is becoming more defined.
Maplewood Plan and Zoning approved the PUD in May, to include 58 1-bedroom and 174 2-bedroom apartments ranging in rent from $1,000 to $1,600 per month. Cozad Commercial Real Estate is the developer.
At the time president, G.T. Cozad said a Maserati/Alfa Romeo dealership deal was being worked on.
At the plan and zoning meeting on Monday, the developers requested an amendment — it’s a Porsche dealership — according to Maplewood Public Works Director Anthony Traxler, by email on Wednesday.
The amendment passed and will go to the city council on Oct. 24.
The commission also OK’d Great Harvest Bread’s request to offer sandwiches, in addition to bread and sweets.
