The opening date for Maplewood’s new QuikTrip location, at the corner of Manchester and Big Bend, has been pushed into June, according to QuikTrip real estate manager, Alan Renner.
Renner said the target date to open the new store is June 5. The date was pushed back from the original mid-May date due to the harsh winter.
He said the present location, at 3010 S. Big Bend, will close as the new one opens. The inventory and all employees will move over to the new location.
Soon after the old store is emptied the tanks, lines and canopy will be removed, to follow Department of Natural Resources rules, to allow QuikTrip to sublease the property. Renner said it’s not on the market yet.
