Commercial real estate agent, Bill Barnes, told 40 South on Thursday that the St. Louis Business Journal posted the wrong opening date for the Maplewood Raising Cane’s — the correct date is June 6, not June 1. 40 South quoted the Business Journal’s wrong date. It’s since been corrected.
The restaurant is planning a grand opening on June 6 at 9:30 a.m. Barnes said.
Raising Cane’s Construction Manager Jerry McClain had previously told 40 South that the doors would open on June 6.
The new Raising Cane’s is at 2707 S. Big Bend Boulevard, at Manchester Road, on the southwest corner. It’s the location of Schaefer Shell, until it lost its lease and closed in February 2016.
I can’t wait to try some. I have always heard good things at this place.
Doesn’t matter. Its fried greasy food which I don’t eat as it is bad for your health.
Not your average fast food, I’m a fan.. my daughter went to LSU and she’s from St.louis.. needed a fast fix between activities on my visit. Not chicken nuggets.. the Sauces are great
