The Brentwood Board of Aldermen will meet twice next week. At the end of the regularly scheduled meeting, beginning Monday at 7 p.m., the four retiring city officials and retiring municipal judge will be recognized for their service and given plaques. The new officials and judge will be sworn in Tuesday at 6 p.m.
On Monday, Mayor Pat Kelly, Ward I Alderman Anthony Harper, Ward II Alderman Lee Wynn, Ward III Alderman Keith Robertson and Municipal Judge Ron Hill will be recognized for their service to Brentwood.
The Tuesday meeting, to be held at 6 p.m. at City Hall, will be a special meeting to certify the election results and install the newly elected or reelected city officials. The new city officials: Chris Thornton, mayor; David Plufka, alderman Ward I; Keith Slusser, alderman Ward II; Steve Lochmoeller, alderman Ward III; Pat Dignam, municipal judge. Tom Kramer was reelected alderman Ward IV.

I want to thank each one of these officials for everything they have done for the City of Brentwood in their service. So often people forget this is time spent away from their loved ones. For the people that will say that is why you get paid, Its not enough. So, congratulations and thank you for your time and dedication to this great city. Enjoy retirement.
