A happy report came in from a Richmond Heights couple who last October used the annual Tri-City Garage Sale to raise money for an adoption.
At the time, Becki and Thad Nieman were waiting to be matched with a birth mom. They had some money saved and had obtained a home equity loan but were are still $15,000 short. After the garage sale they said the support from the community was much more than they could have ever imagined.
Becki sent 40 South an update on Tuesday: “Baby Nora was born on February 7th and we are obsessed with her! She is so amazing and hilarious and smart and we are so, so blessed. Nora isn’t legally a part of our family yet so when that happens (hopefully in August) maybe we can send an update on the page!
Congrats! So happy this worked out for you guys.
Thank you for the wonderful news. So happy baby and parents were brought together.
