The city of Richmond Heights was recognized for excellence in financial reporting recently, according to a press release from the city.
The city has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association. The award was for the city’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year that ended on June 30.
This is the 25th consecutive year that Richmond Heights has won the award. It’s the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, according to the release.
