Two men are facing charges after shots were fired during a road rage incident in Maplewood this week, according to Fox 2 News.
Maplewood police say the incident occurred Monday afternoon near S. Hanley Road. The men were at a stoplight when one got out of his car and allegedly pulled out a handgun, struck the other driver with it, then opened fire in the vehicle.
“We have two vehicles that have destinations to get to in a hurry. We are all in a hurry. We just ask that everybody slows down and hopefully everybody can arrive alive,” Maplewood Detective Mike Gilb told Fox 2.
Police said drivers should never confront another driver over a lane-changing issue. The investigation is ongoing. No one was injured.
