Maplewood’s Saint Louis Closet Co. has successfully wrapped up its winter essentials drive in partnership with St. Louis’ Winter Outreach program and AmeriCorps St. Louis, collecting more than 1,000 items to support the city’s homeless and shelter population during the coldest months of the year, according to a press release.
As part of the company’s Closets for a Cause initiative, community members generously donated new and gently used coats, gloves, hats, snow gear, boots, and scarves to help those in need. The 43-day drive saw overwhelming support, and organizers express deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to making a difference.
Since its inception, Closets for a Cause has raised over $500,000 in cash donations and gifts for local charities, reinforcing Saint Louis Closet Co.’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.
