Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and School celebrated the Feast of the Archangels, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. Saint Michael was the main focus of the liturgy because Michael is the patron saint of police officers and others who keep us safe.
More than twenty-five First Responders from surrounding areas joined us at 8 a.m. Mass. During the Mass Father Jack Siefert, pastor of Saint Mary Magdalen blessed Saint Michael medals and offered a special blessing for all First Responders in attendance. There was a large round of applause to thank those who protect and serve us.
After Mass, there was a gathering in the lower level of the Church for all in attendance. It was an honor to have these men and women with us at Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
