On Saturday, October 22, the police departments from Brentwood, Maplewood and Richmond Heights will participate in the nationwide prescription drug take-back event, sponsored by the US Drug Enforcement Administration.
The program is designed to provide an opportunity for the public to dispose of expired, unused or unwanted controlled substances that can fuel abuse and are an unacceptable risk to the public health and safety.
The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

- Maplewood: 7601 Manchester Road, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Brentwood: 272 Hanley Industrial Court, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Richmond Heights: Public Safety, 7447 Dale Avenue, and at The Heights, 8001 Dale Avenue, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
