Maplewood Public Library director, Terry Donnelly, is a published Klingon language author, and is set to take part in a scene from A Klingon Christmas Carol Thursday night at the library.
Also hear a panel discussion of the play and its relation to the humans and aliens of Star Trek.
The entire play was originally planned to be performed this December, but has since been cancelled.
Donnelly (Klingon name: ter’eS), according to KlingonWiki, has been a member of the Klingon Language Institute since 1993. He has had stories published in jatmey and articles in HolQeD, and is also the author of the Klingon Grammar Addendum and the KliFlash computerized vocabulary program. He has translated some popular songs into Klingon and produced (as far as he knows) the only Lego Klingon animated movies.
