Maplewood Shop ‘n Save employees said Tuesday evening that the store’s lease will end in the middle of June.
The employees said the property owner didn’t want to extend the lease, so the Maplewood store’s last day will be June 15. One said items will be on sale.
Supervalu, Shop ‘n Save’s parent company, is selling the local chain, it was announced last month (St. Louis Public Radio).
Union Local 655 told its members on Tuesday of the impending closing.

There are some very nice employees who have been there forever. I hope they can find new jobs easily.
I’m pretty sure Schnucks bought all the property that shop N saves sit on…. they are all closing sooner then later… Kirkwood is next

If that’s true why has Brixmore listed the 70 k sq ft property for lease ?
