Monday, June 1
- At 12:52 a.m. an officer observed suspicious activity on a parking lot in the 2200 block of Brentwood Boulevard. As he approached the lot, a male took off running. The officer stopped the 21-year-old man in the 8800 block of Bridgeport Avenue. After investigating, he was arrested for possession of marijuana and obstructing police.
Tuesday, June 2
- At 2:14 p.m. police received a call for a shoplifter at a business in the 1500 block of Brentwood Boulevard. A 30-year-old woman was arrested for stealing under $500. She had taken women’s clothing.
- At 4:08 p.m. police were called to a business in the 8400 block of Eager Road for a shoplifter. A 33-year-old man was arrested for stealing under $500. He had taken household goods.
- At 9:19 p.m. police responded to a business in the Brentwood Promenade for a shoplifting. Two girls, 15 and 16 years old, were taken into custody for stealing. They had taken clothing.
Wednesday, June 3
- At 5:54 p.m. police received a report of a theft from a vehicle on a parking lot in the 1900 block of Urban Drive. A purse and cell phone were taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Thursday, June 4
- At 3:01 p.m. police responded to a business in the 8300 block of Eager Road for a theft report. A 15-year-old girl was taken into custody for stealing under $500. She had taken clothing.
- At 6:30 p.m. police were called to a business in the Brentwood Promenade for a shoplifting report. A 36-year-old woman was arrested for stealing under $500. She had taken clothing, purses and wallets.
Friday, June 5
- At 12:19 p.m. an officer received a call for a theft report in the 1400 block of Brentwood Boulevard. Items were taken from an unlocked car parked in the garage.
- At 11:00 p.m. officers were called to a residence in the 1500 block of Swallow Drive for a disturbance. A 30-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault and violation order of protection.
Saturday, June 6
- At 7:55 p.m. police officers were called to a business in the 2500 block of Brentwood Boulevard for a theft report. A cell phone was stolen.
BBQ for Backstoppers
The Brentwood Police and Fire Departments will sponsor their annual “BBQ for Backstoppers” on Saturday, June 20 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Brentwood City Hall, 2348 Brentwood Boulevard. Pork steaks, chicken, hamburgers, brats and hot dogs will be sold. All proceeds benefit Backstoppers.
