Monday, July 28
- A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 3400 block of Greenwood. The owner of the vehicle said someone removed a cargo window to get into the vehicle sometime between July 22-28. A CD player and power tool was stolen.
- Police arrested a 25-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Police arrested a 21-year-old woman for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Police arrested a 25-year-old woman driver for driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. A witness saw the driver hit a vehicle in the area of Bellevue and Manchester. When the driver failed to stop to report the accident, witnesses followed the vehicle to the 7200 block of Sarah. Police arrived on scene and arrested the driver.
Tuesday, July 29
- Police are investigating a theft of merchandise totaling $399 at a Maplewood Commons business. Someone selected a power tool and ran out of the business with the merchandise. Police are reviewing video surveillance in an attempt to identify the suspect.
Wednesday, July 30
- Police arrested a 55-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Police arrested a 21-year-old woman and two 18-year-old men for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Police went to a residence in the 3700 block of Cambridge for a reported domestic disturbance. An investigation revealed that a 43-year-old man had assaulted his girlfriend. The suspect was arrested on the charge of domestic assault in the third degree.
