Saturday, May 24
- Police arrested a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. One of the suspects was also charged with giving false information for lying about his identity.
- Police responded to the 2200 block of Yale Avenue for a reported disturbance. The reporting party said she had been arguing with her boyfriend, who left before police arrived. Police are still investigating.
- Police are investigating two separate “gas drive-offs” in the 3000 block of S. Hanley that occurred on May 24. One incident involved the theft of approximately $42 in fuel and the other involved approximately $35 in fuel.
Sunday, May 25
- Police arrested a 24-year-old man for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Police arrested a 23-year-old woman for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
