Brentwood graduate Sophia Rivera is back to full strength, according to Wisconsin throwing coach, Dave Astrauskas.
Rivera sat out her Badger freshman year to recover from an elbow injury that kept her out of the 2016 Olympic Trials. She qualified with a throw at a meet at Brentwood.
She won the MSHSAA Missouri state meet multiple times in both shot put and discus, as well as national competitions while in high school.
Her 2018 season with Wisconsin starts in January with indoor track.
