Chief of Police Dan Fitzgerald also mentions the National Night Out, on August 5 at the Brentwood Swim Club from 5:30 – 8 p.m. (Maplewood’s night out will be later in the summer.)
There will be hot dogs, lemonade, attendance prizes, and best of all, swimming on a hot summer night. National Night Out is a great way to talk with members of the police department about what is happening in your neighborhood. This is always a fun community event, Fitzgerald reports.
Need better food/drink for the NNO. Is it too much to ask to have hamburgers, soda/tea, pasta salad/potato salad?
