Demolition of the former convent on the grounds of SSM Health is underway, to make way for a surface parking lot due to be completed in 2020.
The convent has been closed for eight years. All religious relics and stained glass were previously moved out of the building, City Manager Amy Hamilton said after a Richmond Heights City Council meeting in February.
