During Advent, the students at Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School donated new gloves and hats to be given to the Webster/Rock Hill Ministries.

The ministries are supported through the generosity of community churches, organizations, individuals and area businesses. The ministries provide food, clothes, medicine and emergency assistance to people in need.

We filled our collection box with the necessities that the poor need to keep them warm during the winter months. Saint Mary Magdalen exemplifies the importance of living the message of Jesus Christ by helping others. All of our students participate in a variety of community service projects, giving them an opportunity to serve those in need.

Abbott Ambulance, as well as the Brentwood Firemen and paramedics, helped the students load the back of the ambulance. As a special surprise Santa arrived to help the students load the hats and gloves. When they finished loading, the ambulance delivered  the donations to the Webster/Rock Hill Ministries. We are very blessed and glad we could share with those in need.
