Steve Lochmoeller, 56, filed to run for alderman, Ward 3, Tuesday morning at Brentwood City Hall. He said this is his first time running for any office. He’s attended board of aldermen, planning and zoning and other committee meetings for a couple years to get up to speed, he said.
“I think Ward 3 is kind of the back door of Brentwood; it’s little bit neglected. Now that we’ve got the front door of Brentwood up and running and looking nice and creating revenue, I think it’s time to look at our ward (Ward 3) and tackle some of the difficulties with flooding and businesses along Manchester Road.”
Lochmoeller said he lived in Brentwood Forest about 10 years and on Madge for the past 20 years. “Raised three girls there and have three granddaughters, so I know how to tread lightly,” he said.
