Monday, May 4

  • Two unknown males stole approximately $1,200 in tools from a Maplewood Commons business. Police are attempting to identify them.
  • Police arrested a 24-year-old woman for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 22-year-old woman for stealing approximately $145 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Tuesday, May 5

  • Police initially investigated the theft of a motor scooter in the 7500 block of Flora Avenue. During the investigation, the victim was contacted by a friend who said he took the scooter as a prank. There were no charges.
  • Police arrested a 29-year-old woman on disorderly conduct charges in the 7200 block of Moller Avenue.

Wednesday, May 6

  • A 35-year-old male driver was charged on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the area of Rule and Marshall avenues.

Thursday, May 7

  • Police are investigating a bad check written to a business in the 3000 block of Hanley Road in the amount of $1,750.

Sunday, May 10

  • Police arrested a 39-year-old woman for shoplifting approximately $535 of merchandise at a Maplewood Commons business. Police will be seeking felony charges.
  • Police arrested a 45-year-old man for shoplifting at a Maplewood Commons business, due to his prior history for theft, police will be seeking felony charges.
  • Police arrested a 22-year-old man on domestic assault charges in the 7400 block of Maple Avenue. He was also charged with property damage and resisting arrest.
