Saturday, June 2 is National Donut Day and Strange Donuts in Maplewood will be celebrating from noon to 5 p.m. As a result Sutton Boulevard will be closed between Manchester and Marietta Avenue.
The city of Maplewood has posted the street closure info: To access Sutton south of Marietta, take Manchester to Marshall, turn south to Marietta, then west (right) to Sutton. Sutton is also accessible via Flora by driving east from Big Bend.
About the Strange Donuts celebration, from Facebook: “Dudes! Back again this year for our 5th Annual Strange National Donut Day. We’ll throw a circus themed party in front of our Maplewood store with a bunch of circus themed fun and games. Featuring food by Bolyard’s & Elmwood, beer from 4Hands, sweets from Sherry’s Snacks, face painting, character drawing, Bulldog rescue, music, dones and vibes from Yours Truly. RSVP here and let us know you’re gonna come through.”
See Strange’s Facebook page for more info.
.@StrangeDonuts founder Jason Bockman had no idea his dream of a donut shop would become the heart of this St. Louis community. This #DonutDay, we’re highlighting these donuts that do good. #LiveToTheFull #StrangeDonuts pic.twitter.com/HZpL99mDyW
