Just a few more days wait for fresh sushi and ramen in Maplewood.

Tom Chantharasy, owner of Robata — the Maplewood sushi, ramen and yakitori restaurant (7260 Manchester Road) — said Thursday he plans to the public Monday at 5 p.m. He’ll have a few practice rounds before then.

Thursday night he’ll serve strictly friends and family, Friday evening is an invitation-only open house, and Saturday, he’s doing a limited seating for Robata Facebook friends — five to six tables per hour. He said the 5, 6 and 7 p.m. seatings are already filled.

Chantharasy’s plan is to open to the public Monday at 5 p.m. Regular hours will be 5 – 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 p.m. – midnight Friday and Saturday.
