Thefts were attempted at Lowe’s and Macy’s, in July and August, according to police and court records.

Angela Jeannine Brown, 49, of St. Louis (aliases: Sheila Coleman, Betty J. Pace, Carla R. Jones, Rhonda Jefferies, Angela Gaston, Tayvier Banks, Angie Brown and others) appropriated four bottles of fragrances from Macy’s department store on August 11. She was caught outside the store and the merchandise was recovered. She confessed the theft.

Brandon Paul Whittley, 35, of Festus, MO, was charged with stealing three TT Powerbank mobile phone chargers on July 19 at Lowe’s. Whittley walked into the store carrying three pieces of laminate wood. He returned them at the customer service desk, receiving a Lowe’s gift card because he did not have a receipt. He was required to show identification to the store manager because he did not have a receipt. After making the return he took a shopping cart to a display, where he put three phone chargers in the cart. He then pushed the cart to the lawn and garden department and threw the chargers over the fence. Then he left the store and walked around and picked them up and got into a van. He was identified from a photo line up by the store manager. It was Whittley’s fifth stealing offense since 2013.
