Thefts in Maplewood, Richmond Heights: police

According to court and police records, arrests were made for thefts at the Galleria, The Boulevard Saint Louis and Walmart.

Toya Blanks, 50, of St. Louis, on Dec. 29, 2014, passed bad checks for $475 and $313 to Steve Decker Fine Dining at The Boulevard Saint Louis. The checks were returned because they had been written on an account that had been closed for more than nine months. She was arrested several months later but declined to make a statement.

Lacondo Doss, 40, of St. Louis, on Dec. 21, 2016, at Macy’s, selected socks, underwear and t-shirts and hid them in his jacket. He left the store without paying. He was stopped outside and the items were recovered. It was his third stealing offense.

Terry Woods, 63, of St. Louis, on Dec. 8, 2016, at Dillards at the St. Louis Galleria, selected items of children’s clothing and hid them in a shopping bag, and walked out without paying. He was stopped outside the store and the items were recovered. It was his third stealing offense.

Marie Alyse Jackson, 19, of St. Louis, an employee of the Maplewood Walmart, stole at least $600 from the store between mid-October and early December 2016. She confessed the theft to police but said she had only stolen $500.
