Tim Hortons sets opening day in Maplewood, win a limo ride

Tim Hortons will open in Maplewood on June 23.

Maplewood’s Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop, on Big Bend next to CVS pharmacy, will open its doors on Tuesday, June 23 at 6 am., according to a press release. It’s the first in St. Louis of a projected 40 for the area.

The restaurant has seating for nearly 50 guests, and includes a double-lane drive-thru and 24-hour service.

Tim Hortons’ bakery cafe menu features fresh baked goods, classic sandwiches, grilled Panini, wraps, soups, hot and cold specialty drinks—hot espresso drinks, iced coffees, brewed teas and frozen drinks such as the signature Iced Capp and frozen hot chocolate. It’s also known for its “legendary premium coffee,” according to a press release.

The location is still hiring for approximately 50 full and part time positions. Applications are available on the Tim Hortons website.

To to recognize fans that have taken to social media to express their love of all things Tim Hortons, the restaurant is launching an online contest to identify “Tim Hortons’ Biggest Fan.”

Fans who share – via social media or TimHortonsSTL.com—how Tim Hortons being open in St. Louis will make their day better will win a chance to be one of the first guests at the new Maplewood location. By using the hashtag #BetterWithTims, fans can enter to win a great prize and bragging rights.

The winner with the most creative entry will earn the right to be the first guest served through the restaurant’s drive-thru, a prize that includes limo transportation from their home to the Maplewood restaurant – all with a complimentary breakfast for them and three friends.

Contest entries will be accepted through June 17 and can be submitted through the company’s website or using  #BetterWithTims on Twitter and Instagram  @TimHortonsSTL and by posting on Tim Hortons Facebook.

      • as a union bricklayer. there is no possible way to know when the new contract will be negotiated. I’m sure a picket will go up if they bring in non union workers.

          • looks like they have half the north wall to complete with brick. if the contractors weren’t trying to destroy the union pension we’d be working! I’m not a bricklayer working on this project. I just live close by.
