Cassy Vires, chef at Maplewood’s Home Wine Kitchen, is a host for the St. Louis Brewers Holiday Party on Tuesday. The event is at Vires’ south city restaurant, Table, 1821 Cherokee Street, from 6-9 p.m.
For $30 you get hors d’oeuvres from Vires
, and samples of winter-seasonal beers from more than a dozen local craft brewers.
Proceeds will benefit HavenHouse, which provides support to families that have traveled to St. Louis for a family member to receive medical care, according to the Riverfront Times.
If you can’t make the party, bring an item from HavenHouse’s list of suggested donations to Home Wine Kitchen or Table from Dec. 10 through Jan. 1 and you get a bottle of wine to go.
What’s on the list? It includes home, office, garden and workshop supplies. Not a bad trade for a bottle of wine.
