Monday, June 2
- Police went to the 2200 block of Yale Avenue for a reported disturbance, and found a man and woman arguing. The man left the residence voluntarily.
- Police are investigating the theft of approximately $758 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The incident was reported to police on June 2 after the business reviewed video surveillance and discovered two men stealing the merchandise on May 30, and leaving the business with the property.
Tuesday, June 3
- Police went to the 7500 block of Rannells Avenue for a reported disturbance between two family members. One of the parties involved in the argument left the residence before police arrived.
Wednesday, June 4
- Police are investigating a theft at a business in the 2600 block of S. Big Bend. The business reported that several hundred dollars in U.S. currency was unaccounted for.
- Police arrested a 22-year-old man for forgery as a result of a fraud investigation at a Maplewood Commons business involving approximately $980. Felony charges are pending through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
- Police are investigating a leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the area of Big Bend and Oxford. An electric signal was struck at the location by an unknown truck.
- Police are investigating the theft of eyeglass frames from a business in the 7300 block of Manchester Road. Police are reviewing video surveillance in an attempt to identify the suspect(s).
