In Brentwood this week, the Board of Aldermen meet Monday. The Ward 1 meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled — Wards 1 and 3 will have a combined meeting Tuesday 7 p.m. at City Hall. Public Works meets at 4:30 p.m. and Planning and Zoning at 7 p.m. — both on Wednesday.
Planning and zoning has petitions on flood hazard control and sign regulations.
The Board of Aldermen will consider bills having to do with new sidewalks and resurfacing for parts of Litzsinger Road, terminating the Brentwood Square Tax Increment Financing, studying Deer Creek flooding, entering into an agreement with Lincoln National Life Insurance Company and purchasing a new boiler hot water heater.

A community meeting is planned to gather community input on the Brentwood Parks System Master Plan, Thursday, 6 – 8 p.m. at the Brentwood Recreation Complex.
The annual Brentwood trash can painting day is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Public Works building, 8330 Manchester Road.
The Maplewood City Council meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items. Planning and zoning will not meet, as scheduled, also due to lack of agenda items. Design and Review is scheduled for Thursday.
Election day is Tuesday. Maplewood and Richmond Heights residents will vote on three school board seats. Maplewood residents will vote to approve an increase in the sewer lateral fee. No local items will be on the Brentwood ballot.
