According to St. Louis County court and police reports, Jordan M. Howard, 22, of the 2800 block of Manderly Drive, was charged with receiving stolen property.
According to reports, on Nov. 16 at the Club Fitness 10047 Gravois Road, the victim reported that her purse, containing cash and at least two credit cards, had been stolen from an unlocked locker.
A defendant was developed as a suspect due to similar thefts in other jurisdictions, and a woman resembling Howard was seen on video from the Club Fitness on the day of the theft, entering the women’s locker room and then walking quickly out of the locker room.
Howard was arrested and confessed that she had stolen the victim’s purse. She said she had done so at the insistence of a male companion, and she further said that she gave the purse to the man, who had been waiting outside Club Fitness, immediately after emerging from the parking lot.
