Did any passers-bye stop to help her? I have seen people in trouble on that stretch, stopped right in the middle of the street, put my car in park in a way to slow traffic until the FR’s come. I don’t relish the idea of getting into anything—but damn if I won’t help a victim of a crime.
People would be surprised at the patience and understanding of other drivers, when on occasions I used my car to slow traffic. Besides the help, and slowing traffic to draw attention–other people helped too. hope the lady is ok. Maplewood-Brentwood citizens really care for others in trouble. I think that is wonderful. mbb
