A combination women’s clothing and handbag, and children’s and maternity clothing store is set for a soft opening Saturday at 10 a.m. in Brentwood.
The shops, The Vault by Women’s Closet Exchange and The Purple Cow, are at 2325 and 2333 S. Brentwood Boulevard.
The Vault by Women’s Closet Exchange will carry designer items, specializing in handbags such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci, according to co-owner Diana Ford.
Ford, her sister, Laura Maurice, and their mother Sue McCarthy are the owners.
Ford said The Purple Cow will carry new lines of children’s and maternity clothing, hair bows, ties and gifts.
They plan on using the center of the store as an event space for a speaker series on women’s issues, among other things.
