The link to the Brentwood planning and zoning meeting agenda Wednesday at 7 p.m.  wasn’t able to be opened, to 40 South News, until Wednesday morning.

Here, now, are a few of the items the commission will discuss.

  • Lawn Care Equipment Co. would like to expand to a second building, at 8513 Manchester Road.
  • Bommarito Wines would like to add land area for a building extension to their location at 2827 S. Brentwood Boulevard.
  • Site approval for a new restaurant, Chick-fil-A, at 8590 Eager Road.
  • Site approval for Carboline, at 350 Hanley Industrial Court.
  • A petition to amend Section 25-260 of the Brentwood Code of Ordinances to add “Churches and other houses of worship” as a permitted use within “Light Industrial District”. (The online Brentwood Code of Ordinances is currently unavailable. Deputy City Clerk Octavia Pittman said there is not an expected date when it will be back online.)

  1. If I might follow up: is there a hard copy I could research? I should hope so, or the P&Z would be operating without administrative structure or written ordinances. Other residents such as myself can see what is in place next week if we know how to access the materials off-line. What is in place would be the existing laws. Anything in the works are not finalized ordinances. Thank you Doug.

  2. Thank you Doug. This kind of lapsing of available information is at the heart of failing to be transparent and accountable. Thank you, again for following up.

  3. When will the B’wd Code of Ordinances be available? I would like to see the current definition and the proposed change. Thank you.
