‘Drunk guy’ found in Brentwood driveway

With the poster’s permission: a photo from Facebook of an unknown man passed out, face down in a Brentwood resident’s van. At the time she didn’t know who the man was. She said her husband believes it’s better to leave a car unlocked with nothing in it rather than locking it and risk getting broken windows.

With the recent discussions about car break-ins, I thought you’d like what my husband found in our driveway Sunday morning. Yes it’s some drunk guy passed out lying in the back of our van!!!!

You didn’t know him?!

No not at all!!!!

Wow, what’s his story? How did he explain himself? Amazing that you had the presence of mind to take a picture.

Don’t know the full story since I am out of town but apparently he thought he was next door? I know the police were called but don’t know outcome yet!!!

  1. Getting the police involved was unnecessary. They tend to make innocent situations like this into big deals… Btw, lock the car doors. They only break the window if there’s something valuable left inside.

    • Police were not called by the car owner, but by the neighbor who did not know the guy even though he said he was there because of her. Being a young single woman, I think she was wise to get the situation checked out. The guy had already left before police arrived
