Kennedy Music was a long-time staple in Maplewood and is still remembered by many in the St. Louis region. Musicians who are still performing in various venues recall the wonderful times to be had just by going to that iconic store. The Kennedy family was involved not only in the music business but provided the area with its own talented musicians who led local parades, appeared in high school musicals, and played for various bands and groups throughout the metropolitan area. Wanda and Tom Kennedy continue to perform locally and throughout the world. Wanda Kennedy Kuntz will share her stories of growing up in this musical setting and will talk about her recollections written in her historical novel KENNEDY MUSIC. Books will be available for sale.
