Parenting is extremely rewarding but, also comes with its far share of challenges. There are times when these challenges put your parenting skills to the test and you find yourself asking, “What do I do now? Who can I talk to about this?”
Christ Church is starting a parent group. This group will meet on a weekly basis to watch an educational video and discuss important parenting issues. The video series is a research-based creation of Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross. The goal of this group is to provide a meeting place for parents/caregivers to learn, share, achieve personal parenting growth, and improve family functioning in a safe and caring environment.
Parents and caregivers of all backgrounds are welcome including, but not limited to, mothers, fathers, grandparents, step parents, parents of special needs children, teen parents and foster parents; ALL are welcome.
