Despite rumors of a new tenant for the old Maplewood QuikTrip location, there’s no official word about who will move in.
QuikTrip real estate manager for St. Louis, Alan Renner said nothing is imminent that he can talk about.
The site, at 3010 S. Big Bend Boulevard, will require clearance from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR), which Renner said they haven’t received yet. He said QuikTrip will receiver either a ‘no further action’ or a request for further monitoring. He said either one won’t stop QuikTrip from subleasing it.

Construction at the new Richmond Heights location on S. Hanley Road is on schedule, Renner said. He estimated it will be completed in about three months.
Renner said the new Maplewood QuikTrip, at S. Big Bend and Manchester, is “doing fantastic. It’s exceeding our expectations.”
Same thing with mattress stores. My God, there were, what, 3 on Brentwood Blvd.? Then they add one on Hanley near Chipotle. And that’s not counting mattresses sold in the Galleria.
why so many in such a small area? And this doesn’t even include their competitors.
