The selection of the winner is determined by 9 votes. 8 votes will be made by fellow Chamber Members and the final vote is determined by the outcome of our public poll. Voting closes on Wednesday, December 30th, 2015.
The MCOC would like to thank the Chamber Members who took time to recognize the worthy nominees by recommending them for the Award.
All four of these businesses are active and contributing members of the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce. The chamber itself does not make nominations but rather relies on its membership to submit nominations.
Here is a link to the criteria:

We are proud to have a diverse community of businesses in Maplewood and each provide value regardless of size, revenue, industry, location, etc. Every business is important to Maplewood. The new, cool businesses are no more or less important then those that have been around for a decade.
We are thrilled to so many members deserving of the award and look forward to announcing the winner next week.
Why nominate a chain company – Tim Hortons – instead of other local businesses like:
Scheidt Hardware, Bolyard’s, Living Room, Flying Tiger, Foundation Grounds, Stone Spiral,
Kakao, Larder & Cupboard, &c., &c, &c. ?
What were your criteria?
