63 percent of those who like 40 South are women, 36 percent are men. That’s reversed for all of Facebook, which is 46 for women and 54 for men.
Women 35-44 make up the single largest group that likes the 40 South. In all of Facebook it’s men 18-24.
Ages 25-54, is the largest overall group for 40 South, accounting for 51 percent women and 26 percent men.
Women 55-64 are still strong on 40 South with 7 percent. That group is 2 percent for all Facebook.
Where are they from?
595 say they live in St. Louis, 106 from Maplewood, 46 from Brentwood; 19 from Richmond Heights; 8 from Webster Groves; 7 from Affton, Kirkwood and St. Charles; 5 from University City and Clayton has 4.

Some refining of stats might be in order…I think women tend to be more interactive using any medium than men. They don’t have “more” or “better” things to say, they just make it a point to say what they think. Also, I am not in any of the “most likely” general fb users, yet I want to keep informed. Finally, I think that Brentwood/Maplewood/Richmond Heights represent the most reliable cross referencing of any useful data status. This is, even if people don’t live here, we are representative of the majority of the greater Metro Area. And THANK YOU DOUG MINOR FOR KEEPING OUR RESIDENTS INFORMED.
