Though not on the agenda, the Brentwood Board of Aldermen agreed at their meeting Monday that a video of the League of Women Voters (LWV) forum for the Brentwood mayoral candidates can go on the city YouTube channel. 40 South News is the c0-sponsor of the forum.
The forum for the candidates, Patrick Toohey, Mark Wilson and Chris Thornton, will be Wednesday, March 18 at the Brentwood School District conference center (1201 Hanley Industrial Court), beginning at 7 p.m.

Each candidate will have two minutes for an opening statement, in ballot order. The candidates will also have two minutes for a closing statement, which will be in reverse order of the opening statements.
After the opening statements, the LWV moderator will read submitted audience questions. Each candidate will have one minute to answer every question, whether it was directed to them individually, or as a group.
A LWV panel will review the questions before the moderator reads them to eliminate repeats, and make sure they are of general interest, and not personal.
Embarrassing, inappropriately hostile or unclear questions will be set aside, according to the LWV.
