Monday, April 27
- Police arrested a 30-year-old man at a Maplewood Commons business for shoplifting.
Tuesday, April 28
- Almost $3,000 worth of merchandise was reported stolen from a storage unit at an apartment complex in the 2700 block of Limit Avenue.
- Resident said rent money was stolen from a drawer in the 3300 block of Cambridge. No forced entry was evident.
- A firearm was stolen from a vehicle in the 7300 block of Richmond Place. There were no signs of forced entry. See also: Police: firearms, tools stolen from cars
Wednesday, April 29
- Police arrested a 33-year-old man for stealing $120 worth of merchandise at Maplewood Commons business. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Police arrested a 31-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man for shoplifting $135 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The woman lied about her name and was also charged with providing false information.
- Police arrested a 44-year-old man for shoplifting almost $300 worth of merchandise at a Maplewood Commons business. The prosecutor will apply for felony stealing charges due to the suspect’s theft history.
- About $700 of electronics was reported stolen at an apartment complex in the 2700 block of Laclede Station Road. No forced entry was evident.
- About $800 worth of tires were stolen from a business in the 3000 block of Hanley. A white box truck was involved. Police are reviewing video.
- Police arrested a 32-year-old woman for shoplifting $120 of merchandise at a Maplewood Commons Business.
April 30 – May 1
- Nothing significant to report.
Saturday, May 2
- Police arrested a 23-year-old man for shoplifting $240 of merchandise at a Maplewood Commons Business. The suspect ran from police but was caught. He was charged with resisting arrest.
- A wallet was misplaced at a Maplewood Commons business. A credit card from the wallet was then used at the business in the amount of $80. Police are reviewing video surveillance.
- A resident’s window was broken out 2700 block of Laclede Station Road. It’s not clear if anyone entered the house.
