Monday, June 29
- A purse was stolen from a parking lot at Deer Creek Park. Maplewood public safety cameras caught a male subject entering a locked car and stealing a purse. Police tracked a credit card that was used from the purse to a business outside Chicago.
- A catalytic converter was cut off a vehicle in the 7200 block of Southwest Avenue.
Tuesday, June 30
- A window was shattered on a car overnight in the 7700 block of Manchester. About $20 was stolen from the console.
- Two 21-year-old women were issued assault and disorderly conduct charges in the 2200 block of Yale Avenue.
Wednesday, July 1
- Police responded to a domestic argument in the 7100 block of Manchester. No arrests were made.
- Police are investigating a $325 check made from a closed account to a business in the 7300 block of Manchester. The suspect is identified. Police are looking for him.
- A 74-year-old woman was issued summonses for endangering the welfare of a child at a Maplewood Commons business. Two children, six and three years old, were discovered in a vehicle on a hot day.
- A 57-year-old man was arrested for stealing about $135 of merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
- Police arrested a 17-year-old male for stealing at a Maplewood Commons business. He was also charged for lying about his name and was found to be in possession of drugs.
- Police arrested a 29-year-old man on domestic assault charges in the 2400 block of Laclede Station Road. The subject had assaulted his girlfriend.
- A 37-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after officers investigated an accident at Big Bend Boulevard and Folk Avenue.
Thursday, July 2
- A catalytic converter was reported stolen in the 2200 block of Yale Avenue.
- A 17-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from a business in the 7300 block of Manchester.
Friday, July 3
- Two 20-year-old men were arrested for stealing more than $100 in liquor from a Maplewood Commons business.
Saturday, July 4
- An 18-year-old female and a 17-year-old female were arrested for stealing liquor from a Maplewood Commons business.
