The Book House sign remained in front of the self-store business for more than a year after the book store moved to Maplewood.

A year and eight months after The Book House moved the few miles from Rock Hill to Maplewood their sign has finally moved with them. The Book House was forced to move when the property was leased to a self-store business.

The sign was on a post next to a Title Max on Manchester, while the book store was farther off the road.

After The Book House moved to 7352 Manchester Road in Maplewood, the sign remained in Rock Hill, causing confusion.

The Book House owner Michelle Barron said the owner of the self-store business took the sign down last week but the Title Max owner put it back up, which prompted 20 calls to the book store, wondering where they were, Barron said.

This week the self-store business owner took it down again, and Barron brought it to her store in Maplewood.
