According to police and court records, Holly R. Honnajha, 18, of Florissant was charged with working with others to steal $843 in clothing, other merchandise and cash at Ross Dress For Less in Maplewood between May 10 and May 15, 2015.
An internal investigation showed that she had allowed customers to leave the store with merchandise they had not paid for. She did this by voiding most of the items after they had been rung up and placed in shopping bags. Honnajha was arrested several days later when she showed up for work. She confessed to voiding the customers’ purchases and allowing them to leave the store. She had also stolen $20 from her register.
